ONE POUND OF REAL BUTTER
ONE WHOLE BOX POWDERED SUGAR

LET BUTTER GET SOFT IN LARGE MIXING BOWL, NOT MELTED. SOFTEN ICE CREAM IN LARGE BOWL AFTER BUTTER IS SOFT AND ICE CREAM HAS MELTED MIX WELL WITH BEATER AND ADD POWDERED SUGAR. PUT IN FREEZER TO FREEZE. TO SERVE: PLACE 2 OR SO TABLE SPOONS OF MIX IN MUG OF HOT WATER, ADD RUM OR BRANDY TO TASTE. TOP WITH WHIP CREAM IF DESIRED. SOOO GOOD ON A WET OR SNOWY DAY
